What you'll be doing day to day
At IKEA, we’re transforming the way we do business to better meet our remote customers’ needs, making our products and services even more accessible and affordable to the many. Whatever type of space our customers want to furnish, we can virtually design for them. In this Interior Design Team Leader role, you will:
- Manage, lead, and coach a team of remote interior designers that will use their interior design skills and IKEA Home furnishing know-how to improve our customers’ living both in residential and commercial spaces via virtual interior design services.
- Secure an exceptional virtual customer experience, build a committed team with a strong culture based on building relationships, home furnishing expertise and trust in the IKEA Brand.
- Evaluate performance and identify improvement areas for Interior Designers and Interior Design Specialists focused on relevant, functional, aesthetic, and commercial home furnishing solutions for our customers.
- Create, monitor, and follow up team action plans to reach set goals.
- Accountable for departmental and/or team effectiveness, procedures, and output by using an established matrix to interpret, communicate, and achieve interdepartmental metrics.
