Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Lab Coordinator with laboratory preparation and cleanup of first year and non-major biology lab courses. Maintain a fruit fly colony for use in biology labs. Assist in general lab room upkeep and inventory.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Basic knowledge of first-year biology lab activities at AUM Self-starter. Works well independently. Good organizational skills. Strong work ethic. Availability to work 15 – 20 hours per week during 8 – 5 pm, M-F

Minimum Qualifications:

Current student majoring in Biology or Environmental Science, Health Sciences, Kinesiology or Sports Medicine. Must be Sophomore standing or higher. Must have taken and passed (Grades of A or B) BIOL 1011 CURE (Course based Undergraduate Research Experience) and/or BIOL 1021 lab courses before the start date.
