Los Angeles Area Childcare Providers Needed - PT/FT - Flexible Schedule


 

Sitter Scout is seeking experienced sitters to join our back-up care team!

As an agency partner of Care.com, we provide sitter services to clientele in the greater Los Angeles area. Interested candidates will have WEEKDAY availability (at least 3 whole week days available) during normal work hours (7am-7 pm), and the ability to work on short notice.

We are looking for caregivers with long-term availability. You must have a car and be willing to commute up to an hour away (gas reimbursement will be provided for anything in excess of 40 miles roundtrip - up to a 100 mile max). You must be willing to work in households with pets.

Sitter Scout, caregivers must be:
* 18 years of age or older,
* A high school graduate,
* MUST have your own insured and reliable vehicle,
* Willing to become CPR and First Aid certified,
* Able to provide Sitter Scout with 3 child care references,
* Willing to go through Criminal, sexual offender and DMV background checks.
Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ to 5 years of experience
  • High school degree
  • First Aid Training, CPR Training

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Caregivers (even if vaccinated) are required to wear a mask while at the job and follow CDC guidelines.

  • Would you be able to provide a minimum of two childcare references? (People who you have provided childcare for who are not members of your family)
  • What days/hours are you available to work each week?
  • How long do you expect to have this availability?
  • When would you be able to start?
  • Would you be willing to commute over 40 miles round trip, if needed, to fulfil a job request? (We reimburse for anything over 40 miles round trip - up to 100 mile max)
  • In order to remain as an active employee, there is shift minimum requirement. Will you be able to fill a minimum of 2 shifts per week (M-F) on a consistent basis?
