Seasonal Customer Experience Representative

Role and Responsibilities:

Please note this job is a seasonal/temporary position, beginning early - October 2023 through early - January 2024.

As the Seasonal Jenni Kayne Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities include the following:

  • Communicate effectively with customers through Gladly, across all channels (phone, live chat, SMS and email) to determine their needs in accordance with CX policies and procedures
  • Handle all inquiries regarding orders, exchange requests, refunds, gift cards, promotion codes, customer issues, etc. with accuracy
  • Maximize sales by clienteling, assisting customers in styling consultations, and providing empathetic and friendly customer service.
  • Encourage customers to sign up for Jenni Kayne Rewards and engage with us on social media platforms
  • Secure company assets through loss prevention in compliance with company policies and guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service environment. Retail sales; women's upper contemporary, multi-label or luxury designer preferred.
  • Can-do attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Willingness and availability to work during peak business periods –weekends, holidays, etc.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proven record of follow through
  • Comfortable working in a team centric environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of experience in apparel or lifestyle e-commerce
  • Knowledge and experience with POS, CRM and Inventory Management systems, Microsoft Office, Gladly, Shopify etc.
  • Results driven; strategic, conceptual, and innovative thinker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and exceptional organizational skills, owning calendar and managing deadlines

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $22 - $23. The hourly rate of pay is determined by experience, education, skills, and location.
